Creativity Groups
In early 2004 I attended a writers conference in Texas, where I met a brilliant woman named Jill Badonsky, a writer and performance artist living in California. Jill wrote a wonderful book about creativity. That summer, she conducted a training for group facilitators who wanted to offer creativity classes. I offered the classes in my area, but couldn't generate much interest. It's my plan to try again soon. I call these Garden Tours. (Read the book to find out why.) Two tours are available, a one-day (or two half-day) class called the Skytram Tour and a 12-week Walking Tour. You don't have to be a writer or artist to benefit from a creativity group. It's for anyone who wants to benefit from a more creative approach in his or her vocation or avocation. If you live in Southeast Virginia, check back to find out when and where you can take a class.
